Start the clock. Eloqua Experience 2012 is just days away.
If you’re like me, you’ve been counting down the days – maybe even the hours.
Well, I’m here to help guide you into getting the most out of the event with a few tips that will ensure you attend the right sessions, and bring plenty of inspiration back to the office.
1. Spread Out
If you’re attending the event with other folks from your company do not – I repeat, do not – attend the exact same sessions! I know it’s comfortable to sit next to someone you know, but you’ll get a lot more bang for your buck if you can divide and conquer. Plus, you’ll meet new people and that’s half the fun and benefit of attending Eloqua Experience.
2. Imagine Big Ideas
If you’re familiar with Topliners, you’ll know how we break out our topics. Eloqua Experience is taking a familiar tack. There are five tracks for the sessions: Imagine It, See It, Do It and Push It. If you’re a big picture strategy thinker, I encourage you to check out the Imagine It tracks which feature sessions by industry analysts and Eloqua customer strategists. Topics in this track may not even touch on the actual Eloqua application, but instead they’ll focus on moving your team forward, aligning with sales, selling into the government, tapping your creative potential and much more.
3. See Your Peers in Action
Are you looking for fresh ideas for marketing campaigns? Check out the case study focused sessions in the See It track. You’ll hear from real customers on the challenges they’ve struggled with and how they’ve solved them using Eloqua. Learn about better ways to segment your communications, smarter ways to track leads at events, and more powerful ways to enable your sales team with the tools they need.
4. Get Geeky
If you’re an Eloqua application ninja (often referred to as an EloQueen or EloKing), then you’ll feel right at home in the Do It track. All of these sessions assume you’re comfortable using Eloqua and you’re looking for new geeky ideas to try. Dig into cloud connectors, data cleansing, custom data objects, and my personal favorite, blind forms.
5. Push the Envelope
New this year is the Push It track for those of you who aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty with code or “push the envelope” with truly advanced Eloqua techniques. You’ll see how to do things such as connect a CMS system into Eloqua for advanced event management, and multi-level subscription management to keep your customers and prospects happy, just to name a few.
Remember, you’re never locked into just one track. You can skip around and spend your days imagining, seeing, doing and pushing as much as you’d like. No matter which sessions you decide to attend, it’s always our priority that you walk away with practical advice and ideas that you can implement as soon as you get back to your desk.
If you haven’t registered, do it today. Registration closes Friday. Will I see you there?
