Eloqua has been building software for marketers since the turn of the millenium. Over the last 12 years, the pace of technology change has been astounding, and Eloqua has been evolving with it – and since we have always been a web-based product, we can bring the latest upgrades to our customer base free of charge.
Our current product is built using an HTML 5 interface which allows us to deliver a desktop-like experience through the web. All of our newest customers are on it, and many of our long-standing customers have opted to have their interface updated. We wanted to see if the improvements we have been making have had an impact on our customers.
We found that the volume of leads is slightly higher when customers are on the new interface. More encouraging is the degree of engagement from users of our updated interface, with 10 percentage point higher adoption rate for monthly unique users. Finally, the most dramatic improvement seems to be in the number of leads nurtured per active marketer, almost 50% more capacity per marketer!
We’re excited to see that what we believe to be a better user experience seems to have translated into better job performance for our customers.
